Supporting chess in HBCUs
TBO exposes college students to chess with an eight-week curriculum taught by master-level coaches & instructors, enforcing skills through tournaments and workshops. At its core, TBO functions to bridge the heavily wedged gap between chess and the Black community.
Resources for Learning
Chess programs in predominately Black institutions are severely underfunded or nonexistent. We work with institutions to ensure that students have access to and exposure to chess.
Education with Impact
We create comprehensive education programs to address the needs of students. From the latest technology to new pedagogical methods, we help engage students and foster growth.
Supporting Community
Education happens within the context of a larger community. Our approach extends beyond the school to help ensure students have the necessary support to do their best learning.
