Making a Difference

The Black Odyssey is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that is committed to making chess a more integral part of our community. In conjuncture with providing a platform for HBCU students to participate in lectures and curriculum, the program also reinforces this with play in tournaments.

Chess is an integral means to develop students with problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
